Contracts Signed!

Hi all, (whoever reads this)

We have just signed contracts 25/03/2009 @ 4.00pm, how exciting and nerve wrecking that was.

Our CSO is AWSOME, she travelled the 120min round trip to come to us to go through the contracts and explain it all to us before we signed, it saved us doing yet another trip to M.

We submit to council soon, am just waiting for them to let me know when they plan on doing this, although we haven't signed off on any plans as yet, still waiting for them to come back from the architect, which seems to be taking forever. We can't wait for the appointment of sighting plans as they do 3D plans!, so we can see where all the cabnitery etc etc will be placed, they also do a proper elevation of it on our block etc etc, so that is the next exciting part, then we will go and see our CC in the next week or so.

It's all very exciting, as anyone that has been through it will understand.

I have found that if you haven't gone through this process then it's not as exciting for them as you would have hoped, but not to worry!

Here we go, it all starts...

We have finally made our decision as to who to build with and the lucky company is......

G.J. Gardner! yahoooooo

Construction will start in 6 weeks...

We are sooo sooo happy with their customer service and their pride in their own work, we love that they are very fussy about protecting their great reputation here, they also have a 10yr warrenty that comes with building our home with them, which is great, hence why they are so fussy.

So I had the appointment with them on Monday 2rd March 2009 to sight the alterations our CSO had made to the plan, which were great, so I signed the paperwork then and there and paid them $3000 to start the process with them.

We will have our first lot of drafted plans back within a week to look over and then contracts will be prepard and our color selection after that.

Our block settles on the 17th March 2009, which is awfully exciting too!

I have attached some photos for you all to look over if you are interested.
One is of the plan of the home we are building and the other is the house situated on the block and an elevation of the front of the house.

Enjoy, ANY comments, suggestions welcome!
